An okada rider is reported to have been murdered at Medie Kitewa near Satellite which is along the Accra-Nsawam main road.
Information has it that the assailants snatched their victim’s motorbike, after which they killed him.
An eyewitness speaking on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm said some other residents in the area heard several noises and woke this morning to see the body of the rider at the scene of the crime.
The eyewitness further disclosed that the area had gained notoriety for the snatching of motorbikes from their owners, especially if it was new.
The body of the deceased has since been retrieved from the scene by the Police.
