Parliament has passed the controversial E-Levy with a Majority sided parliament.
The house passed the levy through a voice vote after the third reading.
President Akufo-Addo is expected to sign and have the law implemented.
The Minority in Parliament had stormed out of the House as the Majority voted for the controversial E-levy bill to pass the Second reading stage, the third stage as finally had it passed.
The Minority leader Haruna Iddrisu who spoke before his side moved out maintained their opposition to the bill.
The Finance Minister who was in the House moved for an amendment of the percentage of the bill from 1.75% to 1.50%.
The e-levy is a new tax measure introduced by the government in the 2022 Budget on basic transactions related to digital payments and electronic platform transactions.
