The Minority in Parliament on Tuesday, March 29 staged a walkout during the second reading on the E-levy, Rainbow Radio’s parliamentary correspondent Kuntu Blankson has reporters.
Haruna Iddrisu, the leader of the side had insisted that the levy was regressive and insensitive.
He asked the President to withdraw it from the House.
He said the Minority remains opposed to the levy and will not support it in any shape or form.
After his submission, the side walked out of the chamber.
Speaker Alban Bagbin described their walkout as surprising.
