10-year-old girl defiled, sodomized by four men

A 10-year-old class three pupil (name withheld) is struggling to walk after she was allegedly gang defiled and sodomized by four men at Abura Edumfa in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese District of the Central Region.

According to the victim, one of his attackers on Thursday evening sent her to buy him some items but upon her return, he asked her to come into the room and drop the item.

The victim narrated that when she made her way into the room, two of the suspects, who have been identified as Yaw Raggae, 39, and Wofa Yaw, 63, forcefully dragged her, defiled, and sodomized her.

Two other suspects who were in the room also sexually assaulted her in turns, she added.

The suspects then warned her not to disclose her ordeal to anyone or else they will kill her.

Out of fear, she also kept quiet until blood started oozing from her vagina before her parents detected it, and upon interrogation, she let the cat out of the bag that she was defiled by the suspects.

Two of the suspects were arrested by some residents and are currently in the custody of Abura Dunkwa Police assisting the police with investigations while two others are currently on the run.

A medical report has confirmed that the minor was sexually assaulted.

The mother of the victim, Ekua Grace told Rainbow Radio’s Oheneba Ambrose that the poor girl is currently not able to walk properly and experiencing severe vaginal pains.

She said my daughter is unable to sit for a long time, and can’t wear a pant because blood keeps on oozing from her vagina and anus.

She is therefore calling on the police to prosecute the suspects and arrest the remaining two for justice to be served.

With the help of an Anti-sexual Abuse Advocate who doubles as a member of the Economic Fighters League, Abeiku Adams, the victim has been sent to a specialist in Accra for proper medical attention.

It would be recalled that two years ago this same girl was defiled by her uncle when she was 8 years old.
