Several residents at Agavedzi, Akplabanya in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region after have been rendered homes after tidal waves hit their homes.
About 20 households were affected.
This comes barely four months after hundreds were left stranded in some coastal communities in the Volta Region last year.
A similar incident was also recorded at Akplabanya in the Ada West District of the Greater Accra Region.
Assembly Member for the Akplabanya Electoral Area, Fredrick Tetteh, confirming the incident said “the chief’s palace is currently occupied by displaced residents, and many are still stranded.”
