Some parents whose wards are yet to be placed in the ongoing school placement system have expressed worry.
The parents whose wards attend the Rev. Father Rangers Basic School, located in Nsawam, say over 220 BECE graduates are yet to be placed.
According to them, the students had their Mathematics withheld by the West African Examination Council (WAEC).
But the results were released, however, they have not been placed.
The parents told Kwabena Agyapong on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that their children had between 6-20 as grade but were yet to be placed.
Efforts by them to get the problem resolved they said have proved futile.
When asked if they knew if the Education Ministry had put measures in place to address the issue at the Ghana National Association of Teachers’ Hall, they said no and hinted at plans to rush there to have their issues resolved.
They argued that their wards performed well and should not be left out of the placement system.
