National Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay has opined that the fundamentals of Ghana’s economy are strong despite the challenges confronting the us.
Addressing a gathering at the party’s youth conference organized by TESCON and the Danquah Institute, where the Vice President is expected to address the nation on the economy, he said Ghana was on the path to progress.
He said Ghana was not the only nation confronted with challenges but the NPP government has done a lot for the country.
He challenged the students to be the conveyor belt of the achievements of the NPP.
To him, the youth of the party and students have a huge stake in the party and should be interested in what happens to Ghana and the NPP.
He went on to state that the party’s youth must remain resolute, and firm because the future is bright, especially with the NPP in power.
