Nine persons have been shot dead with several others sustaining injuries following an attack on Zacholi in Yendi.
Some properties were also set ablaze in the attack.
Rainbowradioonline.com has gathered that the attack came after allegations that some armed robbers had attacked and killed a Konkomba man on Tuesday, April 11, 2022.
The attack which resulted in the nine deaths was said to be a retaliatory attack on Zacholi.
The bodies of the deceased persons were found lying in the open until the Police arrived at the scene of the crime.
