President Akufo-Addo has in his Easter message to Ghanaians, asked citizens to be hopeful that we will overcome our economic challenges.
The President, in a recorded broadcast, said his administration will bring the country back to a path of progress and prosperity, where it was originally, before the onset of the outbreak of the Covid-19 outbreak which he added had been worsened by the Russia and Ukraine war.
He said, ”despite these challenges, he was hopeful that with creativity, enterprise, hard work, perseverance and unity, we the Ghanaian people shall overcome for our future is bright”.
The President added that this would be the first time in three years that Ghanaians will celebrate Easter following the lifting of all the restrictions of the Covid-19 protocols.
He revealed our infections rate is low with only 32 active cases recorded as of Monday, 11, April 2022.
He said our treatment centres are empty with zero severe or critical cases.
