President Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed a deputy communications director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Richard Asante Yeboah, as the acting executive secretary for the Public Servants Housing Loans Scheme.
He has been appointed in an acting capacity “pending receipt of the constitutionally required advice of the governing board of the scheme” in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
His appointed letter dated 21 April 2022 and signed by Nana Bediatuo Asante, the Secretary to the President, said Dr Yeboah has 14 days to accept the offer.
“I am pleased to inform you that the President has appointed you to act as the executive secretary of the Public Servants Housing Loans Scheme pending receipt of the constitutionally required advice of the governing board of the scheme, given in consultation with the Public Services Commission,” the appointment letter said.
The Public Service Housing Loan facility assists Public Servants to acquire dwelling houses in Ghana.
