The Northern Regional Police Command has arrested two persons, a male, and a female in connection to the killing of nine Fulanis at Zakoli in the Yendi municipality.
The male was arrested last week and has since been remanded into police custody while the female was picked up over the weekend to assist in investigations.
Northern Region Police crime officer Superintendent Bernard Baba Ananga revealed that the police are still on a manhunt for the remaining suspects.
He appealed to the public to volunteer information to the police.
