A 14-Year-Old Boy, Kofi Senyo Mensah, popularly known as Abodey, has allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at Assin Foso Abisewa in the Assin Foso Municipal in the Central Region.
The painful incident, happened on Thursday, April 28, 2022, around 11 pm.
He had told his parents he wanted to urinate but did not return, only for them to discover he had hanged himself on a tree.
It remains unclear what caused the minor to commit suicide, but the family are devastated, with residents expressing shock.
Abodey is said to have hanged himself with cloth tired on a cocoa tree at Abisewa, a suburb of Assin Foso, with little foams in his mouth.
The Police have since conveyed the body to St. Francis Hospital while residents suspect foul play.
