The Ghana National Fire Service has officially disclosed that two persons lost their lives during a fire outbreak at the Korle-Bu Police barracks on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
The victims were an 11-year-old girl and a 65-year-old woman.
Also affected by the outbreak were a week old baby, a three-year-old boy and a 32-year-old adult who were rescued.
They are currently receiving medical care at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, the statement from the fire service revealed.
