NDC fmr organizer, wife arrested for pouring hot water on a lady

A former Bibiani Anhwianso Bekwai, National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Youth Organizer, has been arrested together with his wife, for allegedly pouring hot water on a young lady at Sefwi-Baakokrom.

The NDC former officer Mr. Agyare Mensah was arrested together with his wife by the Sefwi Bekwai District Police Command for allegedly pouring boiling water on the victim Regina Amankwaa a.k.a Akosu for attempting to beat Madam Janet, the wife of Mr. Agyare Mensah.

Narrating the incident on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, Fillasco stated that the victim is currently battling for survival.

He revealed that the victim was accused of abusing her 9-year-old daughter.

The suspects had taken custody of the daughter as part of measures to end ch child labour activities in the area.

The victim infuriated by the action of the suspects stormed their residence in the company of some others and demanded that her daughter is released.

The former NDC officer then asked to calm down, but she will take any of that.

In the process, the wife of the NDC former officer asked the victim to remain calm.

However, the victim and her accomplice allegedly assaulted her.

In her retaliation, she went inside and picked the boiling water on the fire which was going to use to bathe and allegedly poured it on the victim.
