The Police in Ankaase in the Krachi West District of the Oti Region has arrested the driver who allegedly slammed into and killed six students this week.
The driver, after the unfortunate incident, absconded, but he is currently in Police custody.
He is currently assisting the Police with t5heir investigation into the matter.
Six students died on the spot after the suspect slammed into them.
The seventh person died while on admission to the hospital while receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, plans are underway to organize a mass burial for the deceased children.
