A student at the Fosu Training College is currently nursing his wounds after he was bit by a snake in the scrotum.
The student had gone to ease himself in a toilet facility which the school claims was no longer in use.
Reporting on the matter, Oheneba Ambrose said although there are water closet facilities on campus, the majority of them have been locked, forcing some of the students to use the one the school claimed to have been abandoned.
He told the host of Frontline Kwabena Agyapong on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that the student had to scream for help after the snake had bitten him.
He was rushed to the Francis-Xavier Hospital where he is responding to treatment.
