About five communities in the Zabzugu district have been cut off from the capital after the heavy downpour on Saturday.
The affected communities include Nakpali, Zooyili, and Kura.
Rainbow Radio’s Prince Kwame Tamakloe reported that the heavy downpour destroyed road network among other things.
He revealed that over 800 livestock have perished due to the rain that flooded the communities on Saturday.
According to him, the National Disaster Management Organization are currently assessing the situation.
He further reported that residents have been asked not to move out of their homes considering the danger.
