The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has asked the public to be extremely careful during the rainy season and avoid going near sagging or fallen electrical conductors.
The power distributor said such an action is fatal hence the public should take note.
It has also admonished the public to report cases of fallen or sagging conductors to them through the various social media handles or call their Call Centre on 0302-611611 or visit any of their nearest ECG offices.
ECG promised to repair any damage caused by the heavy downpour and has asked the public to remain calm as some of the permanent damage done to the conductors could take some time.
