A Kumasi High Court has annulled the results of the Fomena Constituency executive elections of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) held recently.
An aggrieved member of the party, went to court over the organization of the polls.
Mr. Agyemang Budu, went to seeking a declaration of the polls as unconstitutional.
The party had defied an earlier injunction secured against the elections and went ahead to conduct the polls on Wednesday, May 4.
The Legal Committee of the party led by Mr Budu went back to the courts to seek further interpretation on the matter..
The High Court 5 presided over by Justice Patricia Quansah, admitted the motion.
She, however, indicated to the plaintiff and defendant that the Fomena Constituency could not partake in Saturday’s regional executive elections.
