Founder and Executive Director of Peace Watch Ghana, Madam Nyonkopa Daniels has slammed the former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Prof. Emmanuel Martey describing him as a hypocrite.
Madam Daniels says the man of God’s recent assertion that he only uses messages in addressing national issues is an act of hypocrisy.
She wondered why the man was vociferous under the previous Mahama administration but has refused to use the same measure to criticize the current incompetent administration.
She said it is shocking that Prof. Marty, Ace Ankomah, and others are no longer speaking against the current hardship and corruption we are witnessing under the NPP government.
“Today, Prof. Martey is telling Ghanaians that he uses text messages in addressing national issues. May God have mercy on that man. May God have mercy on that man and the others who have refused to talk”.
“We were in this country when he alleged that he was bribed but refused. In any serious country, he would have been arrested and prosecuted,” she added.
Meanwhile, she says she is disappointed with the NPP government because they have failed Ghanaians.
She said corruption and mismanagement are throwing with citizens suffering but they are not showing any concern.
“I am disappointed in President Akufo-Addo and his government one trillion times. The price of petrol and diesel keeps increasing. People are struggling to survive and the government is not bothered,” she said on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm.
