The Ghana Police Service has described an intended demonstration to be organised by Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, Captain Godsbrain Smart, Benjamin Darko and Oliver Barker-Vormawor as inconsistent with the Public Order Act.
The Police in a statement described the demonstrations as so because the demonstrators have informed the Service of its intention to contract armed private security to provide security for the demonstration.
It said the Police will not be able to provide security for the organizers because the demonstration is in violation of the Public Order Act.
