A man of God who preaches at the Light House Chapel International, Reverend Emmanuel Asare Obeng has asked fathers who have offended their children to seek forgiveness.
The reverend minister says fathers who have not contributed anything meaningful to the lives of their children must seek forgiveness.
Speaking on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he indicated that fathers have a key role to play in bringing up their children and others who need fatherly love.
The role of fathers he explained is difficult but crucial and any father who fails to contribute to the upbringing of their children does not deserve to be celebrated as a father.
He said only responsible fathers must be celebrated on fathers.
“You don’t deserve to be celebrated as a father if you have not contributed anything meaningful to the lives of your children and others. Responsible fathers are the ones who are always there for their children. They should brace all odds and ensure that their children get the best of care they deserve no matter the challenges,” he added.
