Ghanaian musician, Emmanuel Andrews Samini who is simply known as Samini has been elected as the Students Representative Council (SRC) President of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
He polled 307 votes to defeat his other contender Theo, who garnered 212 votes.
There were 12 rejected ballots.
The musician had stated that a vote for him meant that his office will establish Onuapa SRC find aimed at supporting needy students.
The find also seeks to support student businesses and other worthy causes.
