A founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has opined that it would be impossible for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to be elected as presidential candidate for the elephant family.
In his view, the structures of the NPP will make it difficult for the second gentleman of the and to be elected as flag bearer.
He asserted that Dr. Bawumia is currently not an independent minded person.
He said he is fond of praise singing the president and that makes it difficult for him to be elected.
“I had an interview with a foreign magazine, in which I made it plain that by the structure of our party, Bawumia cannot come to power.
“Bawumia is a fine gentleman, if Bawumia would have had that independent mind and strength and not just always praise what the president has done or has not done, I would have looked at him differently; I know Bawumia very well,” he said in an interview with TV3.
