Give all public sector workers 20% COLA, inflation is too high-TUC

The Trades Union Congress (TUC) has asked the government to give all public sector workers a 20 percent Cost of Living Allowance (COLA.

A statement issued by the TUC said the demand for COLA is influenced by the high level of inflation in the country.

“The proposed COLA will not only cushion workers and pensioners from the harsh effects of inflation but more importantly, it will prevent them from mass poverty,” it said in a statement.
