Two suspected thieves have allegedly been caught at Wassa Akropong of the Western Region.
The two, who have been identified as Chilli, 22 and Bortey 25, allegedly robbed a woman of her GHc1,500 and mobile phone.
According to the report, the victim was admitted to the Wassa Akropong Government Hospital.
The suspects were tied and assaulted by some angry residents in the area.
Reporting the incident, Baba Musah, told Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that, one of the suspects went to the ward where the victim was admitted, to allegedly rob her.
When arrested, the suspects said they managed to sneak into the ward because there was nobody around.
