Secretary to the Board of Trustees to the National Cathedral has justified reasons why the National Cathedral project is essential.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he said no matter the difficulty that they will encounter, the Cathedral would be built to the glory of God.
He revealed to host Kwabena Agyapong that ”we are building the Cathedral because we feel God has been good to this nation in the midst of the Covid, in the midst of civil wars, over the years, in the midst of a drought. God has been good to us, and so, if we want to thank him by building the Cathedral, Christians must support the project”.
He said the cost of the project raised concerns but ”we want to make a statement that when you want to so something, you have to do it well so God will bless you. Ghanaians will benefit immensely from the Cathedral because the world would come to Ghana and see it”.
He said though the concerns raised by Ghanaians are genuine, the Cathedral is a project that is essential and must be supported by all.
He appealed to Christians to support the initiative since it would come with blessings from the Supreme one.
Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng, when asked if the Churches in Ghana mobilize themselves to build the Cathedral should the nation fail to allocate resources for it, said God would embarrass them, and by his grave, the Cathedral would be built to his glory.
