The 2020 presidential candidate for the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Percival Kofi Akpaloo, has opined that Ghan is lacking leadership hence the current challenges we are facing.
The politician averred that Ghana has not got a selfless, dedicated and patriotic leader, who is committed to transforming the country.
”We don’t have leaders in the country. We don’t have leaders who can think for the nation. We only have those who are interested in amassing wealth,” he added.
Mr. Kofi Akpaloo was discussing some of the challenges confronting the nation, our economic independence and how best leadership could help address these challenges.
On the issue of the cathedral, he proposed that the nation should mobilise support from individuals instead of using state resources to construct the project.
He expressed worry at the rate of our importation, a situation he lamented is affecting our local economy.
He said it was about time we go back to our old days, invest in industrialisation and ensure the local economy grows.
