Executive Director of Peace Watch Ghana Madam Nyonkopa Daniels has asked Ghanaians to stop castigating the Inspector General of Police George Akuffo-Dampare over every single issue.
According to her, the IGP should not always be blamed for the indiscipline and unprofessional conduct of officers.
To her, the IGP cannot be at everywhere at a time hence the appointment of commanders and other officials in the various jurisdictions of the Police.
She encouraged Ghanaians to report unprofessional police conduct at the Police Intelligence & Professional Standards Bureau.
Madam Daniels said some Police officers are doing their best although they are some bad nuts in the service creating problems for the service.
She noted that officers who are giving the service a bad must be exposed so those doing their best will continue to keep the integrity of the service.
She maintained that the IGP is not someone who can be influenced with a bribe and for that reason, some individuals in the service want to sabotage his efforts.
She was speaking to Kwabena Agyapong on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm.
