The Jaman North District Health Promotion Officer, Mr. Tarchie Isaac, has advised Ghanaians not to let their guard down as Covid-19, was still with us.
In his view, Ghanaians must still patronize the wearing of face masks and other safety protocols, especially in public places, because of the increasing surge of the case.
He said although wearing face masks was not mandatory, it was important to wear them in public places.
He also encouraged persons who were yet to get vaccinated to do so since it could help curtail the spread of the virus.
He, however, clarified that being vaccinated does not completely protect you from the covid -19 but will suppress the severe pain one may go through after being infected with the virus.
The vaccination, he added, will not have any negative effects on your health as a result of the vaccines indicating that Ghanaians must all make themselves available to be vaccinated to prevent the spread of the virus.
He revealed that the district, between May to July 2022, recorded 19 new cases of Covid 19 with one (1) death hence the need for all to protect ourselves from being affected.
