The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai in the Western North region, Alfred Amoah, has perished in an accident.
The driver of the MCE is also reported dead in the ghastly accident which occurred Tuesday evening.
Rainbowradioonline.com gathered that the accident involved multiple vehicles.
The accident the website gathered occurred at Apedwa near Tafo in the Eastern Region.
Confirming the incident, the Western North Regional Minister, Richard Rocky Joojo Obeng described the incident as a sad one.
He revealed that he had parted ways with the MCE, Alfred Amoah from a meeting in Accra.
“He was with me this afternoon. He just left my company around 4:00pm. Yes, he was with me in Accra,” he said, indicating they were together at an official meeting.
The MCE was travelling in his Nissan Patrol with a registration number GN 2060 – 18 along with his driver, with the other accident vehicles identified as a trailer with registration number, As 4229 – X and a fuel tanker with registration number, GN – 8549 – X.
