Fast-growing senior reporter at Rainbow Radio International 87.5MHz London/ Accra, Prince Kwame Tamakloe has over the weekend won another enviable international award by the Merck Foundation in collaboration with the association of Africa First Ladies.
The award, dubbed Merck Foundation Media Recognition Award 2021 is in collaboration with the association of Africa First Ladies and presented to Prince Kwame Tamakloe for his outstanding articles written on COVID-19 and creating public awareness on the effects and prevention of the deadly coronavirus in Ghana and Africa at large.

During the award ceremony held at the Labadi beach hotel in Accra, the Northern Regional Correspondent expressed his joy over the award and thanked the organizers for the recognition as well as his co-workers for their support that won him such a prestigious award.
He said, “I wish to dedicate this award to my mother, my coworkers at Rainbow Radio, and the people of the Northern Region for always supporting me.”
He pledged to keep working hard to make a positive impact on the people in the Northern Region, Ghana, and Africa as a whole.
Prince Kwame Tamakloe joined Rainbow Radio International in 2015 and has since won Climate Change Reporter of the year, Climate Change Impactful Journalist of the year, and now the Merck Foundation Media Recognition Award for the online category.
