Outgoing National Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay, has urged party members to make the party greater since it is already a great party.
Delivering his final speech as chairman, at the national delegates’ conference of the NPP, Freddie Blay noted that the party has done its best in ruling the country despite the challenges.
He said the growth of the country, economic development, massive infrastructure, and accountability largely depend on the NPP.
He, therefore, asked the party not to lose sight of this but work to make the party greater.
On behalf of his family, he expressed his gratitude to the party for letting him serve as chairman, and most especially he thanked the President for his support.
He also strongly appealed to the party to continue to remain united and focus on the greater task ahead of them in 2024.
Freddie Blay posited that the party members must put their individual differences, and personal ambitions behind them so they will be able to break the 8-year-jinx.
He said the party should organize an incident-free and transparent election.
