Sustainable development expert Michael Ebo Amoah has posited that allowing one person to stay at a particular ministry for six years is not politically wise.
He said the party persons who are calling for a reshuffle are not necessarily interested in the positions assigned to the current ministers.
He was of the view that the president must take bold steps to bring in new faces and fresh minds to help the party build a solid foundation going into the 2024 general elections.
Mr. Ebo Amoah stated that some ministers have grabbed their respective ministries as personal property.
He was speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm with the host Kwabena Agyapong.
“We cannot mention names but some people behave like tin gods and have grabbed their respective ministries as their personal property. Their attitude and mentality are terrible. If you look at how they behave and what they do, no one would tell you that, they are arrogant”.
Mr. Ebo Amoah noted that several ministers must be shown the exit including the Communications Minister, the Agric Minister, Roads and Highways Minister, Employment Minister, Transport Minister, Defence and the Interior Minister.
He asserted that you change people to make an impact on the government.
Several of these ministers he said failed to make meaningful contributions to the party which led to the party losing several parliamentary seats in parliament.
“But in all these, the President said he is contempt with them and so we can only wish him and the government well.”
