A pregnant woman and her two sons were burned to death at Ohwim in the Ashanti region.
Her family and neighbours have been devastated by the tragic incident.
The family and neighbours were seen at the scene, wailing uncontrollably.
Philomena, the woman, and her two children, ages eight and four, were reportedly burned beyond recognition.
The fire is believed to have started around midnight, according to Ohwim Assemblyman Hon. Erastus Ebo Boison.
He stated that the cause of the fire is unknown, but he personally suspects arson.
According to him, one of the deceased children, aged 14, who managed to escape the fire, told him that all she saw was fire but was able to step out because she was sleeping in a different room.
The late’s husband, who is said to be a bank manager of a rural bank in Ashanti, was not present at the time.
