Nana Addo promised us Heaven but instead delivered Hell- Repairer

August 24, 2022

A repairer of electronic devices and owner of Mawuta Show located in Abelempke of the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency says the current administration promised Ghanaians heaven, but citizens are living in hell.

Mr. Serh Wisdom Nash says as someone who campaigned for the current administration, he feels disappointed in how the government has managed the affairs of the country.

In a discussion on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, the repairer with nearly 27 years of experience noted that the economic hardship is unbearable, and our leaders are watching unconcerned.

According to the repairer, leaders often fail to recognize Ghanaians’ pain, anxiety, and frustration.

”Ghana is in a terrible state. You cannot understand why we are going through this hardship. It has become difficult for us to buy food to eat. The ability to pay for water, electricity and other bills has become extremely difficult. We are unable to pay our wards fees. The system is harsh, and we are suffering,” he told the host, Kwabena Agyapong.

“In the past, I could have used Ghc5 in a chop bar and been satisfied, but now, you need Ghc25 to enter a chop bar,” he said. Things are tough. To prepare food in the house, you’ll need at least Ghc100. If you want to eat tilapia, you’ll need Ghc40 for three raw tilapia”.

He went on to say that the cost of fuel, transportation, and basic commodities has risen to unimaginable heights.

He stated that if the situation is not addressed, Ghanaians will be filled with rage and pain.

He suggested that our leaders take action to address these issues before we regret them.

Customers, he claims, are unable to collect their repaired items from his shop because they lack the financial resources to do so.

”I sometimes buy food on credit because I don’t have the money for food. We are in dire moments and can no longer bear the pain,” he concluded.
