Col (rtd) Damoah, the Commissioner of Customs at the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), has been relieved of his duties as Customs boss.
Seidu Iddrisu Iddisah, the acting Deputy Commissioner (Preventive), has been asked to take over his duties and office.

“I believe he has gained the necessary experience. He has worked for the Customs Division for many years, understands the job, is competent, and is a dedicated employee. Customs will be transformed by Hr. He’ll make huge strides, so let’s back him up,” he added.
