Tamale: Man sustains injuries after jumping from overpass

A middle-aged man has sustained injuries after apparently attempting suicide by jumping from the Tamale overpass.

The man is seen landing on the ground lane from the top of the overpass in a five-second video posted on social media and sighted, by Rainbowradioonline.com with onlookers running and screaming.

According to eyewitnesses, the man sustained life-threatening injuries.

It has also emerged that the man could be mentally unstable.

Police in Tamale confirmed the incident, saying they are investigating the incident.
