Godfred Yeboah Dame, the Attorney General and Minister for Justice has requested that the docket on En Huang, a.k.a. Aisha Huang, be released from the Police.
The Attorney General stated in a tweet that he will re-initiate prosecution against Miss Huang for her current alleged offences as well as those from 2017, prior to her deportation from Ghana in 2018.
“There shall be a full prosecution for her alleged new and past offences” Godfred Yeboah Dame said.
“The Attorney General per his request, assures that he will initiate prosecution against Miss Huang, in respect of her current alleged offences as well as those of 2017 before her deportation from Ghana in 2018,” the Ministry added.
“Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Godfred Yeboah Dame, has called for the docket on En Huang, a.k.a. Aisha Huang, from the Police,” portions of the Ministry’s post on September 6 read.
The Chinese woman is on trial for selling and purchasing minerals without a license.
