The incident occurred at Asukese, a suburb of Ahafo Mim in the Ahafo Region on September 3, 2022.

According to the information available, the victim reserved a tree on his farm to be used to roof his yet-to-be-built house.

On Saturday, the victim’s wife informed him that his younger brother had cut down the tree and had hired some boys to transport the woods home via “Aboboyaa.”

He entered the bush and noticed three young men, including the rider, loading the woods onto the “Aboboyaa.”

He allegedly pulled out his gun and cutlass to intimidate the boys, but it didn’t work.

According to reports, three young men overpowered him and stole his gun.

The two allegedly entangled his hands behind his back before the rider shot his testicles.

Mim Police apprehended the suspects, while the victim is being treated at the Mim Government Hospital.
