The Queen’s coffin has left Balmoral Castle as part of the final arrangements for her funeral.
The funeral cortege will travel from Balmoral to Edinburgh in six hours, passing through Aberdeen and Dundee.
Thousands of people are expected to line the route as the late monarch is driven to Holyrood Palace.
The Queen’s coffin will arrive in London on Tuesday, and she will lie in state at Westminster Hall beginning on Wednesday.
Following the death of her mother, who had ruled for 70 years, her eldest son, King Charles III, was proclaimed monarch.
The Queen’s funeral will take place on Monday, September 19, which is a Bank Holiday in the United Kingdom.
