Despite the opposition, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stated that the National Catheral project will be built.
He stated that his administration was determined to see the project through to completion.
“We will undoubtedly construct the [National] Cathedral,” President Akufo-Addo stated.
He stated that the project is close to his heart and that the facility will be built to glorify God.
On Sunday, he delivered remarks at a Thanksgiving service honouring Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong’s late father, Mr. Agyepong, at the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Graceland Teshie Nungua in Accra.
While expressing sympathy to Dr. Agyepong and his family for their loss, the President encouraged him to find solace in the fact that his late father gave birth to him to.impwvt society.
“In fact, the name Dr. Agyepong has been lost on Ghanaians. Now Zoomlion has become his [Dr. Agyepong’s] household name, all thanks to his entrepreneurial skills and his passion to help transform lives in the country,” he praised Dr. Siaw Agyepong.
