You owe Mahama an apology for peddling lies & falsehoods against him- MP to Richard Ahiagba

September 16, 2022

The Member of Parliament for Builsa South Dr. Clement Apaak, has asked the Communications Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagb, to apologize to former President John Dramani Mahama for peddling lies and falsehoods against him.

He said for his inability to provide evidence to support their claims that the government paid for the office and other costs of the former president, he needs to apologize.

The former President accused the government of denying him all of his entitlements as the country’s former leader.

He also claimed that the government denied him the right to free utilities and other benefits to which he is entitled.

However, at a press conference in Accra, the NPP’s Director of Communications, Richard Ahiagbah, stated that the former President has been untruthful to Ghanaians.

“The former President has told blatant lies. We have assembled relevant documents that prove that the former President lied and that, contrary to his claims, he has been indeed been enjoying privileges due him.”

“We did not want to share these private documents with the public, but they are already out there, so we will share them.”

But when asked on Thursday’s edition of Good Morning on Metro TV to provide evidence to back up his claims that the former president’s allegations were false, he couldn’t.

He had insisted repeatedly that the evidence was on his phone. However, he did not comply with the host’s request.

In light of this, Dr. Cloement Apaak requested that the NPP officer apologizes to Mr. Mahama.

”Rather than address Ghanaians on the stinky revelations in the AG report, the excruciating hardship in the country, the scandalous Aisha Huang matter and the questionable comments from high government officials, including the president, and accusations made by Serwa Broni among others, they are busy wasting time to malign JM because of his bold and truthful statements on key national issues. I’ve news for NADAA and the NPP, JM is just warming up. Ghanaians should expect more from him. He will speak boldly and truthfully on national issues.”

He opined that the government is obligated to deal with the misappropriation, embezzlement, and other infractions detailed in the A-Gs report, as well as the contentious Aisha Huang saga, but is wasting time criticizing Mr. Mahama.

Mr. Mahama, he said, would continue to speak the truth and expose the ills in the government.

He stated that the former president would continue to expose any form of government rot.

Folks, Richard Ahiagba and the NPP owe JM an apology for the lies, falsehoods they peddled at that ill-advised press conference to help defend the earlier mosaic of lies and falsehoods instigated through Abronye against JM.

Rather than address Ghanaians on the stinky revelations in the AG report, the excruciating hardship in the country, the scandalous Aisha Huang matter and the questionable comments from high government officials, including the president, and accusations made by Serwa Broni among others, they are busy wasting time to malign JM because of his bold and truthful statements on key national issues. Watch the video below, and see how the Director of Communication for the NPP failed to defend what he said at his press conference. Ghanaians must call him and his masters out for telling lies and seeking to use falsehood to impugn the reputation of JM.
