Wisdom Victor Kutor, President of the Ghana School of Law’s Students Representative Council, has been impeached by the Students Representative Council’s Supreme Court (SRC).
Wisdom Victor Kutor was impeached after being found guilty of financial impropriety.
Mr. Kutor was accused of purchasing a car from his company for the SRC and another for his personal use under dubious circumstances.
He was also accused of operating an SRC-owned Mobile Money business under his company name and diverting profits to his personal use.
It was established that the foreign travels he embarked upon was not approved since he unilaterally took the decision and single-handedly selected those who travelled.
He denied the allegations. However, the committee that probed the matter the Ghana School of Law discovered evidence to support the conclusion that Mr. Kutor placed himself in a position where his personal interests conflicted with those of the Ghana School of Law SRC.
