Denkyirahemaa, Nana Ama Ayensua Saaea II has asked chiefs in the area to desist from selling lands belonging to Boa Amponsem Senior High School to developers.
The traditional leader was worried the situation would affect the infrastructural development of the schools.
According to her, the sale of portions of lands belonging to the school is worrying for the future infrastructural development of the school.
Speaking at the 60th-anniversary celebration of the school, Nanahemaa also appealed to authorities in the municipal assembly to intervene.,
She said ”stop selling the lands to people. The school would need them for future projects. It is not prudent to sell the lands to people,” she stressed.
Meanwhile, she has also lamented the encroachment of the school by some individuals.
She praised the school’s administration for their efforts to promote quality education in the community.
She urged them to continue doing their best to prepare students to be responsible leaders in the community and the nation as a whole.
