Aisha Huang, who is now known as En Huang and three others standing trial for engaging in illegal mining activities have been denied bail.
The suspects have since been remanded in Police custody for the third time by an Accra Circuit Court presided over by Bright Acquah.
It came after the prosecution requested more time to continue its investigation.
They will be held in police custody for another two weeks.
Aisha Huang and the three others Jong Li Hua, Huang Jei and Huiad Hiahu are facing the charge of engaging in the sale of minerals without licence and mining without a licence.
The defense team, led by Captain (rtd) Nkrabeah Effah-Dartey, had requested bail, but the court denied it.
