Roads and Highways Minister Kwasi Amoako-Atta has revealed that the government has implemented adequate strategies to effectively maintain the country’s road network.
The initiative, according to the Minister, aims to increase the number of roads in good condition across the country.
“Government through the Ministry of Roads and Highways has developed a unique strategy for road sector nationwide. This is to increase the percentage of roads in conditions by undertaking various periodic maintenance activities”, the Minister said.
Mr. Amoako-Attah stated that among the maintenance measures are asphalt overlay, re-ceiling work, and travelling.
He was speaking at the commissioning of a 22-kilometer inner-city road project in Cape Coast.
