Ghanaian priest and politician, Christian Kwabena Andrews, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, has taken a swipe at President Akufo-Addo describing him as a man who lacks an understanding of development.
He said if the president understood development, he would not have demolished buildings to construct a national cathedral.
The man of God believes the president had a simple job to develop Ghana, but he has exhibited gross incompetence and lack of political will despite asking Ghanaians to give him a try.
He said Ghana is currently struggling because our leaders lack what it takes to maintain a stable economy.
”Our leaders, including President Akufo-Addo, lack vision. They lack what it takes to provide the expertise to manage our economy.”
Speaking to Dr. Ren on Rainbow Radio 92.4Fm in the UK, he said what we are witnessing today are leaders who are corrupt, selfish, greedy, and only interested in amassing wealth for themselves and their relatives.
Osofo Kyiri Abossom said the rate of youth unemployment, armed robbery, and ritual killings he noted are all a result of the poor leadership and policies to create opportunities for the youth in the country.
He further advised the country to invest heavily in technical and vocational education to train the youth in skills development to help reduce the rate of unemployment.
