The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has named Gary Nimako as its Director of Legal Affairs.
Mr. Nimako is a member of the party’s Legal and Constitutional Committee and has been a member of the Legal Team since its inception.
He is also the Managing Partner of MARFO & ASSOCIATES, an Accra-based private law firm, and a graduate of the Ghana School of Law and the University of Ghana, where he has provided professional legal services to Party members at all levels.
In 2011, he joined the National Communication Team of the New Patriotic Party. He was made a Member of the Legal and Constitutional Committee of the Party and have remained part of the Legal Team till date.
He has provided professional legal services to members of the Party at all levels. He has represented the Party at National Peace Council meetings, he has been a Member of Dispute Resolution Committee.
He was the National Coordinator for Legal Affairs in Elections 2020 in charge of Ashanti Region. He was a Member of the National Vetting Committee for Parliamentary Candidates in Ashanti Region.
He has served as a Member of National Appeals Committee of the Party and also a Member of the National Verification Committee that vetted all the forms of the 275 Parliamentary Candidates prior to filing with the Electoral Commission. Currently he is a Member of the Legal Team in charge of prosecuting Parliamentary Election Petitions in the 2020 Elections.
He was a Member of the National Vetting Committee and also National Elections Committee for the just ended National Executive Elections for the New Patriotic Party.
He is the President’s Nominee as the Board Chairperson of the Gaming Commission of Ghana.
