Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has denied scamming or defrauding her church members.
The self-acclaimed evangelist who has been arrested over an alleged money-doubling scam says the allegations are false.
She explained herself in a video, saying she invited church members for service last Friday and gave out money to help them with their various businesses.
According to her, she had invited persons interested in being helped, to come to church on Friday (October 7, 2022), convert to Christianity and become church members.
She was arrested after some members of the public accused her of running a money-doubling scheme.
The suspect is currently assisting police with their investigation.
The Police encouraged anyone who is a victim of the alleged money doubling scam to report to the Accra Regional Police Command for further action to assist the investigation.
